All-round architect and designer with the main focus on quality to the final detail

Who is DesignHoofd

Educated at Delft University of Technology, Koen Hoofd graduated at the faculty of Architecture in 2014. After graduation he decided to broaden his perspective on design as a whole at Studio Roosegaarde, using his skills in architecture and design to create interactive landscapes of the future of which Glowing Nature became the main focus. After finishing the project he turned his vision back towards architecture in a more traditional sense and has been working on different sized projects since then; from apartment top-ups to a 38-room hotel.
He has been working on all stages and types of projects; from concept designs to final project delivery, and from permit requests to (algae) research.
