Glowing Nature
Interactive landscape
As part of the Interactive Landscapes of the Future project the Glowing Nature project is an art installation the makes use of light emitting algae (Pyrocystis Fusiformis) to create light in the dark by human interaction.
A natural source of light at human interaction in this project, but it says much more about the future of how we see nature and light, with possibilities of having nature provide light during the night and charging during the day. Moreover, the algaes use photosynthesis, transforming CO2 into O2 and could even be used as dense source of nutrition for human consumption.
